String Architecture, Decentralized High Fault Tolerance

Compared with the traditional bulky “centralized + line-frequency inverter + isolation transformer” solution, Imax Power adopts advanced string design.
During system operation, if a single module fails, it can be independently cut off and shut down.
It will not affect the normal grid-connected/off-grid operation of other modules and the entire system at all.
This decentralized fault-tolerance mechanism greatly reduces on-site system shutdown risks and after-sales O&M costs.

BMS Architecture Down-Grade, Eliminating DC Combiner Box Costs

This solution supports simultaneous access to up to 4 battery clusters.
Under the string architecture, the 4 battery clusters are independent of each other.
No DC side combiner operation is required anymore.
This means you can directly cut the hardware cost of DC combiner boxes in the battery integration link.
It also eliminates the complex BMS main control link, simplifying the system topology.
There are fewer fault nodes, and the overall economy is significantly improved.

Off-Grid Demand: Active SOC Balancing Technology Based on Underlying Logic

In microgrid (especially off-grid only) scenarios, PV power varies across paths due to light or shading.
For example, MPPT 1 generates 120kW, while MPPT 2 generates 80kW.
This causes inconsistent charging and discharging depths of corresponding battery clusters.
It further leads to serious SOC polarization problems.
Imax Power all-in-one machine has underlying communication capabilities.
The PCS can accurately read the SOC information of each battery cluster in real time.
During discharge output, the system automatically implements an active balancing strategy.
Battery clusters with high SOC automatically increase output power.
Battery clusters with low SOC automatically reduce output power.
It dynamically eliminates the power difference and maintains SOC balance of each cluster.
This greatly extends the service life of the battery system.
It also ensures absolute stability of microgrid power supply.
