Description

IMAXBC Centralized Flexible Energy Storage System
System Overview
IMAXBC centralized flexible energy storage is a centralized lithium-ion energy storage system with battery module-level control. Based on traditional centralized energy storage, it connects a module controller (FPC) in parallel at the DC output port of each battery module, thus achieving independent control over the charging and discharging states of each battery module.
Design Advantages
This design avoids the parallel circulating current problems caused by direct parallel connection of conventional centralized energy storage battery clusters. It also circumvents the capacity loss issues resulting from series connection of battery modules. When using 314Ah battery cells, the balancing current between battery modules can reach up to 157A.
Technological Features
Centralized flexible energy storage is an integration technology of Imax power. Its degree of refined control over battery charging and discharging states is 8 – 96 times that of existing energy storage integration technologies. It possesses advantages such as high safety, high reliability, and high full-lifecycle charging and discharging energy capacity. Moreover, its cost and losses are equivalent to those of string-type energy storage.
Application Scenarios
This system is mainly applied in small and medium-sized industrial and commercial side energy storage power stations. It can also be used for energy storage on the power supply side and grid side.
